My little darling,

Mommy is so very ready to finally meet you!  She has been having a lot of contractions but you still don't seem to want to come out yet.  You're running out of room in there!  You'd have a whole lot more room if you just came out sweetie!  You're officially due to make your entrance into this world in 5 days, but Mommy is ready whenever you are.  Your room is ready, Mommy has read the books and done everything she can to prepare for you.  Now all she needs is you in her arms!  Mommy can't wait to see how handsome you are.  Mommy loves you very much!

My little darling,

You sure are getting big!  Mommy can't believe that you're almost here!  We only have a few more weeks and mommy is getting very very excited.  Your bassinet is set up and your clothes are washed, you have diapers and wipes and everything  you will need when you arrive.  Grandma and your Godmothers and auntie Jeanne are really excited too!  Mommy knows you're practicing because you get the hiccups a lot and mommy is getting a lot of Braxton-Hicks contractions.  Very soon you will be here and mommy can't wait to see your perfect face and admire how handsome you are!

My little darling,

Mommy is getting so excited about meeting you!  She can't believe that in less than 11 weeks you will be here.  You have been a very busy little boy recently.  You like to kick and flip and move all over the place and mommy loves it!  Mommy's belly is getting very big these days.  She has trouble doing little things like picking things up off the floor and tying her shoes.  She finally gave up this week on her pants for work and is going to try to get away with wearing yoga pants.  Hopefully nobody else will notice!

In a week and a half your aunt is giving mommy a baby shower for you to celebrate your amazing life.  It's going to be a lot of fun!

You're going to be here soon little guy and mommy can't wait!

My little darling,
You are growing so fast!  Before mommy could only feel you moving really low in her belly and on the sides, but now she feels you all the way up by her ribs!  You get the hiccups every couple of days as well and mommy's whole tummy twitches.  Mommy loves seeing and feeling you move!  Very soon you will be here and mommy can't wait!

Mommy's friends at work gave her a baby shower yesterday and my did you get some amazing things!  Mommy already put together your bouncy seat and your stroller/car seat.  For now your teddy bear is keeping your car seat warm :).

Mommy can't wait to see you!  Only 13 weeks left!!!

Kung-Fu Baby

My little darling,
You amaze mommy more and more each day.  You have been very active this week-sometimes not even letting mommy sleep!  But mommy doesn't mind.  Your movements make her smile.  Today was the first time mommy really felt you kick from the outside.  She was very shocked and almost didn't believe it!  You must be doing some big somersaults and practicing kung-fu in there because when you get going there's no stopping you!

Mommy has been busy reading books and researching everything she can think of to prepare for when you come into this world.  She's been working on her registry to make sure she has everything you could possibly need as well.  There are a lot of decisions and mommy is making sure she chooses the best options for you!

It's been a long time

My little darling,
Mommy has been really busy and just realized she hasn't written anything since October!  A lot has happened and you're getting so big!

Mommy's tummy is finally doing better and she's not getting sick anymore.  She had a couple months of feeling really dizzy because you were growing so big so fast, but mommy's body is adjusting and doing much better.

On December 29th mommy found out that you're a BOY!  We did have a bit of a scare when we saw you on the ultrasound, but mommy went back to see a special doctor or January 4th and he said that you're absolutely perfect! (Which mommy already knew).  Mommy and grandma got to watch you on the ultrasound for over an hour and you were very busy the whole time.  Every time we tried to see your feet you would kick but we did get to see your little toes eventually.  You were even trying to suck your thumb!  You have already made your mommy's heart melt and you're still in her belly!

You're making mommy's belly get really big now!  And the over the past three weeks or so mommy has been able to feel you moving around all the time.  You really get moving when mommy's at work and you hear the sirens.  Maybe you'll be another firefighter in the family when you grow up!  Grandma can't wait until we can feel you on the outside of mommy's belly so she can feel you kicking too.

Mommy and grandma and looking for a bigger apartment for when you get here in May and we've been having fun looking at clothes and toys and everything for you.  You're definitely going to be spoiled!

Tonight mommy broke a tooth.  Mommy's definitely in pain and hopefully she'll get into a dentist soon.

Mommy is enjoying feeling you grow and move and she can't wait to see you in May!
